HDP 5000 Card Printer

HID Global has added new features and functionality to the top selling retransfer ID card printer on the market today. The professional HDP5000 continues to provide superior-quality High Definition Printing™ (HDP®), for print images that increase credential and organizational security.

The reliable FARGO HDP5000 now features the following enhancements:

Industry leading three-year warranty offers users greater peace of mind

Field-upgradable dual card input hopper – optional module with 200 total card capacity simplifies management of multiple cards types

Faster print speed increases card throughput, producing up to 150 cards per hour

AES256 data encryption and resin ribbon erase features provide greater data security

Upgraded, brighter LED displays status information, now in multiple languages for improved regional compatibility

New, low-cost YMCK half-panel ribbon enables more economical prints; High Durable HDP Film (to be released Q2, 2013) provides greater card durability without lamination

Enhanced graphics capabilities are included in the FARGO Workbench® v3.0 diagnostic utility, via the new Color Assist spot-color matching tool. (Also new in v3.0 is simultaneous firmware upgrade capability for all printers on a network.)

Note: Current HDP5000 print ribbon, HDP Film and overlaminates are compatible with the enhanced printer model. In addition, new HDP5000 firmware and drivers are also compatible with the original HDP5000 printer, making it easy to manage both printer versions.
